Photo Release

By registering your student(s), you grant permission for Harmonix Homeschool Choirs to publish any photos & videos of your child/children for purposes that include, but are not limited to, promotional or informational uses.

Commitment Agreement

I understand that my child, as a member of Harmonix, needs to make singing in the choir a high priority and be a member of choir for the entire season. This requires not missing choir rehearsals except in exceptional cases (with approval of choir director).

Membership in Harmonix is an honor. Singers are expected to participate for the entire season from first rehearsal to our final performance of the semester. Each member plays an important part in the success and growth of the choir; therefore, consistent attendance is required. Students will be allowed no more than 2 unexcused absences per semester. Students exceeding these limits will not be permitted to sing in our performance as they will not have had the training and experience to be adequately prepared. Absences that receive director approval will be allowed in addition to the unexcused absences. An example of an excused absence would be for illness, death of a family member, and unavoidable schedule conflicts that have been communicated to your choir director and received prior approval.

I agree to commitment expectations

Tuition Agreement

I understand tuition is non-refundable. It is due based on the tuition schedule chosen by the parent at registration (unless other arrangements are made and approved by director).

If a student’s tuition has not been paid by the date indicated in their selected option (based on semester, or monthly schedule), that student will not be allowed to attend rehearsal until such time as tuition is paid. Each missed rehearsal will be considered unexcused. If you foresee difficulty meeting this payment schedule, please contact our office immediately. We will make every effort to work with you, but a payment plan must be established.

Harmonix expects participants to commit to the entire semester and tuition is non-refundable. However, we understand extenuating circumstances may prohibit you from continued participation. Extenuating circumstances include a move out of the area, a death in the family, and other life-altering situations. In these situations, we will consider a refund on a case-by-case basis. Unexpected scheduling conflicts do not constitute an extenuating circumstance.

Performances

One Spring concert is planned (TBD depending on Covid-19 precautions). When invitations are received for other performances, they’re considered, & if accepted, announced ASAP. Additional performances are optional.

For Spring 2021, we do not anticipate an additional performance due to Covid-19 health precautions.

I agree to performance plans.

Concert Attire

For Spring 2021, we anticipate the concert attire to be something that the student already owns. If the student does not already own an item that matches the concert attire, we commit to finding an option for your student that is less than $30.

I agree to concert attire terms.

Behavior

It is a priority of this choir to make sure that all students are safe and able to learn during class. For this reason, if there is a major behavior issue with a student, the director reserves the right to terminate a student’s participation in the choir without reimbursement. Prior to the termination, the director will discuss the issue with the parent and, if possible, give the student an opportunity to correct their behavior.

I agree to behavior terms

Class Enrollment

Harmonix reserves the right to close registration, cancel classes, or restructure the classes based on student enrollment. If a class is canceled, all monies will be refunded. If a class is restructured, you will be given the option of a refund.

I understand the Harmonix policies regarding class enrollment.
